The highway and some houses were flooded in Surkhandarya

Yesterday, November 8, in the second half of the day, in the section of the M39 international highway that passed through the "Chilonzor" neighborhood of Boysun district, floods flooded the carriageway of the road and flooded some houses. "Employees of the district administration, internal affairs, emergency situations, and road safety units arrived at the scene of the incident and the situation was brought under control. Currently, works are being carried out to eliminate the consequences of the flood and to clean the mud-gravel mixture on the road. "FV employees are continuing to clean water reservoirs in some houses and other objects located along the road," the press service of the regional administration reports. No one was injured in the incident. ❕ Due to heavy rains on November 8-9 of this year, citizens living in the foothills and mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers moving in the mountainous areas should take necessary precautions.
