The heads of Turkmenistan and Iran held a telephone conversation

The presidents of Turkmenistan and Iran, Serdar Berdymukhamedov and Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, had a telephone conversation on Friday. The heads of state exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the month of Oraz and discussed issues of bilateral dialogue.

The heads of Turkmenistan and Iran discussed the progress of the agreements reached during the visit of Serdar Berdymukhamedov to Tehran in June 2022. The commitment to cooperation with authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN and others, was confirmed.

During the telephone conversation, the presidents discussed the possibility of building up partnership in the fuel and energy, transport and communication complexes and agriculture.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ebrahim Raisi spoke in favor of expanding partnership in the field of science and education, culture and art, sports.
