After high-level talks in Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and French President Emmanuel Macron got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. It contains exhibits from 7 museums of the country. These rare objects, which give an impression of the ancient history and rich culture of our people, are placed in the style of a chronological excursion. It is known that the territory of Uzbekistan has become a center of trade, science, education, culture and architecture with the development of transcontinental relations. Ancient monuments contain traces of the values of many cultures - Turkish, Persian, Greco-Bactrian, Arab, Indian, Chinese and other peoples. An interesting show will help the viewer to understand the elegance, cultural and historical significance of the exhibits and will make them want to travel around the country. The exhibition consists of 3 sections. The first section is about the period of ancient states, the spread of cultures through the Silk Road, the Kushan Empire, and exhibits figurines, gold objects and coins. It is noteworthy that some of them were found during a joint expedition of Uzbek and French scientists. The second part introduces the development of art and culture, roads and caravans in ancient and medieval times. The third section is about the spread of Islam, the development of culture and science in Central Asia during the Renaissance and Timurid period. Here, guests can get acquainted with the manuscripts of great scholars such as Muhammad Musa al-Khorazmi, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Abu Rayhan Beruni, Imam Bukhari, Mirza Ulugbek and Alisher Navai. This section is organized around the figure of the great ruler Amir Temur, and presents decorative objects of that time and the letter of the French king to Sahibkiran. The exhibition made a great impression on the President of France and members of the delegation. Also, the heads of state planted a tree in the park of the Congress Center in Samarkand as a sign of their determination to bring our countries closer together and strengthen the friendship between our peoples.
