Famous cultural and artistic figures from Central Asian countries presented a concert program to the guests gathered in Dushanbe

A festive concert was held in Dushanbe in honor of the fifth consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia.

The “Evening of Friendship” was held at the Borbad Palace, reports the press service of the head of Tajikistan.

The concert program, together with Emomali Rahmon, was attended by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the head of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the leaders of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It is noted that famous cultural and artistic figures from Central Asian countries presented a concert program to the guests, which demonstrated long-standing national and good-neighborly traditions and good relations between states.

“The peoples of the countries of Central Asia are connected by historical and cultural commonality, traditional ties of friendship, an understanding of community and solidarity with each other,” the statement says.

The leaders of the Central Asian states highly appreciated the creativity of the artists.

It was emphasized that the countries of the Central Asian region are interested in developing cooperation in all areas, including culture and art.

Rahmon presented Berdimuhamedov with the highest award of the heads of Central Asian countries

Reliable dialogue, as well as the development and strengthening of stable and long-term bilateral relations between the countries of Central Asia is one of the priorities of Tajikistan’s foreign policy.
