The head of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Vice-President of UCI

On June 24, the President of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Vice-President of the International Cycling Union (UCI), President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Osama Al Shafar. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The Vice-President noted that UCI is interested in increasing cooperation with Turkmenistan. The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that during the visit, the guest will be able to get acquainted in detail with the development of cycling in the country.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation. Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that Osama Al Shafar is also a co-chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group between Turkmenistan and the UAE, in connection with which interest was expressed in establishing fraternal relations between the UAE and Turkmenistan.
