The happiest countries in the world have been announced
According to the World Happiness Report 2026, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the ninth consecutive year. Scandinavian countries are leading the way with high social trust, low inequality, quality healthcare and education, as well as work-life balance.
In the ranking of Central Asian countries:
🔹 Kazakhstan — 33rd place
🔹 Uzbekistan — 53rd place
🔹 Kyrgyzstan — 66th place
🔹 Tajikistan — 88th place
The United States rose to 23rd place, Russia is 79th, Ukraine is 111th, and Afghanistan is the unhappiest country with 147th place. The study was conducted with the participation of 23,000 respondents in 29 countries.
