The governor who went out for bread in a service car

On October 18, Alma Nurgaliyeva, the deputy governor of the Kyzyljar district of Kazakhstan, was brought to justice for eating bread in a service car. A video of him stopping to buy bread and leaving his car in a no-parking zone was shared on social networks. He said to the blogger filming him, "Don't film me, I can pay you."

His case was reviewed by the Board of Ethics, he was disciplined, an administrative report was drawn up for parking the car in an unspecified place, and he paid a fine.
