The governor of the city of Karshi will be rewarded with not 75 million with 56 million

The decision of the Council of the Kashkadarya region of people's deputies was made to direct funds at the expense of additional sources of the regional local budget. With the decision made on October 9, more than 23 billion soums were directed for various purposes. 

According to the annex of the resolution, at the expense of additional sources of the regional local budget, 56.2 million was allocated to encourage the head of Sector 1 of the counter-city, which won the nomination “the most Initiative sector”, that is, the mayor Normomin Kholboyev. This is based on the Cabinet Resolution No. 536 of August 23, 2021.

In mid-September, the governor of Qarshi, Normomin Kholboyev, had decided to allocate 75 crore to encourage himself. This document, which was placed in the electronic system” e-decision", was signed on August 25, 2023 by the mayor Normomin Holboyev.

After that, a submission was made by the Anti-Corruption Agency to take measures to eliminate the causes and conditions causing corruption, finding that the decision of the mayor of the opposite city was made in a way contrary to the requirements of the current legislative acts. Based on the submission, this decision of the governor of the Kashkadarya region was canceled on September 19, 2023 by Resolution No. 414-4-0-Q/23.
