The governor of Surkhandarya region recommended eating honey instead of sugar
The words of the governor of Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kasimov, that “everyone is eating tons of sugar,” have caused widespread discussion on social networks.
According to the spokesman for the regional administration, Murodbek Davlatov, this video was taken from a meeting held on April 11, during which the governor recommended using more honey and natural products instead of sugar. His views were taken out of context and misinterpreted.
These recommendations were made in order to improve the healthy nutrition of the population, especially children, patients and military personnel, as well as to effectively use honey and natural products produced in the region.
