Uzbekistan's official reserve assets were down to $ 1 billion, 650 million in September, at $ 31 billion, 39.3 million as of October 1, 2023.
Reserves are declining for the sixth month in a row — in May, official reserve assets decreased to $ 837.9 million, in June — $ 649 million, in July - $ 71.8 million, and in August - $ 958 million. Since the beginning of the year, the country's “financial airbag” has decreased by $ 4.73 billion.
It is reported that the country's gold reserves are declining by $ 335 million to $ 23 billion 95 million. The size of the precious metal also increased by 0.2 million troy ounces (6.22 tons) to 12.3 million troy ounces (about 382.57 tons).
Uzbekistan exported more than $ 3 billion in gold last January–April. In April, Uzbekistan cut gold exports to $ 650 million. The total supply of precious metal abroad was $ 3.06 billion.
