The former head of the Samarkand Health Department was arrested in connection with the "Dok-1 Max" case.

At the court session on the death of children from "Dok-1 Max" syrup, the judge announced that the former head of the Health Department of Samarkand region was imprisoned.

According to the Darya publication, Judge Musa Yusupov informed about this in response to the request of one of the defendants in the case of "Dok-1 Max" in Tashkent. Earlier, this defendant summoned the Samarkand doctors and the head of the regional SSB to the court, who informed the public about the syrup, and filed a motion to obtain their testimony.

"Precautionary measures in the form of imprisonment have been applied to the head of the health department of Samarkand region. An additional criminal case has been opened and investigation is underway," the judge said.
