The foreign ministers of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan met in Baku

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with his colleague Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.

This was reported by the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that the meeting took place within the framework of the 27th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

The foreign ministers touched upon issues of expanding bilateral partnerships in various areas, including the economy, trade, investment, energy, transport, agriculture and tourism.

In addition, the politicians exchanged views on cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan within the framework of international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.

Tajikistan and Azerbaijan may increase the number of student exchanges

Let us recall that recently the Ambassador of Dushanbe to Baku, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, met with the Minister of Education of the Transcaucasian Republic, Emin Amrullayev.

Thus, the possibility of increasing the number of student exchanges, scholarships and intensifying the activities of the consultative mechanism between the ministries of education and science of the two countries was considered.
