The first Eid prayer was performed at the Imam Bukhari complex
The first Eid al-Fitr prayer was performed in the Imam Bukhari mosque complex on March 20, 2026.
The prayer was led by Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar, and was attended by scholars, imams-khatibs and thousands of citizens from different regions. The mosque is designed for 10 thousand people.
Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, having familiarized himself with the construction work carried out in the complex, put forward the initiative to perform Eid al-Fitr prayer in the new mosque.
