The FIFA World Cup Trophy Arrives in Tashkent

As part of the global FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, the original solid-gold FIFA World Cup Trophy, weighing 6.175 kg, has arrived in Tashkent. The Trophy’s visit to Uzbekistan is being organized within a tour initiated by The Coca-Cola Company.

The event was attended by representatives of the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports, the Tashkent City Administration, and the Uzbekistan Football Association, as well as executives from The Coca-Cola Company. Along with the Trophy, the 2006 World Cup champion and Italian national team legend Marco Materazzi also arrived in Tashkent and will accompany the Trophy during the presentation. This gives football fans in Uzbekistan a rare opportunity to see the legendary prize in person.
