The embezzlement of more than 35 billion soums in tax cashback funds has been uncovered
In Andijan region, it has been revealed that a group of individuals misappropriated 35.1 billion soums in cashback funds through the “Soliq Mobile” application.
According to reports, the suspects registered several LLCs and formalized fictitious trade transactions between them. As a result, a fake turnover of 1.1 trillion soums was created, and large volumes of receipts were issued based on these documents.
Consequently, more than 100,000 citizens were mistakenly paid 35.1 billion soums in cashback through the “Soliq” application. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and investigative actions are ongoing.
