The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Dushanbe, regarding the report of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, circulated by the media about the court verdict against the General Director of Jamol 2012 Rasulov Jamoliddin Ziyovuddinovich, considers it appropriate to clarify that the verdict passed against a citizen of Tajikistan, although it reflects the independence of the judiciary of Tajikistan and sovereignty state, however, the message somehow mentions the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which does not reflect the reality of the situation, innovations in the field of protecting the rights of foreign citizens and residents, their protection and care for them in the country. It should be noted that in the Kingdom, where 13.4 million foreigners live and work, including labor migrants, who enjoy all the rights and protection, which makes the Kingdom one of the most attractive countries in the world for labor migration in all qualifications, amendments and additions have been adopted in the Labor Code in order to ensure their rights.
The Embassy notes that the relevant companies in the Kingdom are engaged in labor migration only under an official license and cooperate with many countries in the field of labor migration, and this activity is aimed at ensuring the transparency of labor contracts, the implementation of the Labor Code and guaranteeing all the rights of labor migrants are under strict control.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is proud that, as recognized by the international community, international and regional organizations, it has introduced international standards that reflect the quality of life in the country, as well as its respect for the labor code, which contributed to an increase in the flow of labor migrants to the Kingdom, whose remittances per month amount to 3 billion US dollars, and in a year 36 billion US dollars.
