The DPRK said the condition for the use of nuclear weapons against the United States

The entry of a strategic submarine of the US Navy into South Korea may become a condition for the use of nuclear weapons by the DPRK. 

The corresponding statement was put forward by North Korean Defense Minister Kan Sun Nam. He stated that the increased deployment of strategic weapons by the United States would fall under the terms of the use of nuclear weapons.

“The doctrine of the use of nuclear weapons makes it possible to carry out the necessary actions if it is determined that a nuclear attack has been carried out or is imminent for our country,” the statement said.

At the end of April, it was reported that US nuclear submarines would enter South Korea for the first time in over 40 years. The White House noted that the underwater unit would be a key element of The “Washington Declaration”, aimed at curbing Pyongyang.

"The United States needs to understand that nuclear facilities have entered extremely dangerous waters,” he said.
