The DKK put an end to the smuggling of 19 kg of hashish in the Namangan and Tashkent regions

According to UzA, a quick event was held by the employees of the State Security Service for Namangan region in cooperation with the regional customs and internal affairs departments.

In particular, 9 kilograms 766 grams of hashish, smuggled from Kyrgyzstan, were found in the apartment of a 48-year-old citizen living in Yangikurgan district, and it was registered as physical evidence.

A Lacetti car driven by a 28-year-old resident of Pakhtaabad district, moving on the Andijan-Namangan route, was stopped and inspected by the police and internal affairs bodies in Uychi district. As a result, it was found that there was 1 kilogram 379 grams of hashish brought from Kyrgyzstan in the cabin, and it was processed.

A resident of Fergana region in 1975 and 1981 received 8 kilograms of hashish, which had been smuggled from Tajikistan and hidden in a secret place, during a quick event held in Piskent district of Tashkent region by the State Security Service officers in cooperation with customs authorities. 2 people were arrested.

Also, a 27-year-old resident of Bekobad was found to have left this drug in the aforementioned place, and he was also arrested.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and preventive measures in the form of imprisonment have been applied. Investigations are underway.
