The diplomatic mission of the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan ended

On August 17, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the country, Hamed Bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Khudayr, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission.

This was reported to the"Report" from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

C.Bayramov thanked Ambassador Hamad bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Khudair for his contribution to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia during his activity and wished him success in his future activities.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, energy, humanitarian and tourism areas, as well as issues of cooperation within international organizations, including the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement were discussed. At the meeting, it was noted that the political relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are at an excellent level, and it was emphasized that the achievements in the development of cooperation in the economic and trade sphere are satisfactory. The support of Saudi Arabia to our country was highly appreciated both during the occupation for almost 30 years and during the post-conflict period.

Recalling the high-level mutual official visits, the minister expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, as well as his contacts with his counterpart in the framework of international events.

Hamad bin Abdullah bin Saud Bin Khudayr spoke about the development of relations between the two countries and the work carried out recently. The ambassador expressed his gratitude for the relations of friendship and cooperation shown to him during his activity in Azerbaijan.

The parties also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest.
