Amendments and additions were made to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On additional measures to involve the private sector in the field of road safety".
In particular, the period of installation and commissioning of special automated photo and video recording software and technical means of violation of traffic rules on highways by business entities will be extended from 60 days to 180 days.
After the integration of the software and technical tools into the complex automated information system "Administrative practice", a system of their trial use will be launched for ten days.
The preferential period given to business entities in the distribution of fines collected from traffic violations will be extended from 1 year to 2 years.
If the enterprise does not carry out any actions (construction and installation works) related to the installation of software and technical tools at the facility within 90 days from the day of receiving the notification that it has won the auction, the agreement will be concluded through the court. will be cancelled.
In the event that the total number of errors in the data sent to the "Administrative Practice" complex automated information system on the cases of traffic violations recorded through software and technical means is five percent or more, the property rights of the business entity to the object will be canceled by the court. will be done.
Radar by auction
Entrepreneurs have been allowed to install cameras and radars on roads since March 1, 2021. Land plots are offered through online auctions.
Auction winners will receive plots for an unlimited period with the right to transfer them to other entrepreneurs. In 2021-2022, 3356 video cameras and 763 radars were installed in this way. For information, starting from June 2021, places for placing radar and cameras at intersections and roads in Uzbekistan will be auctioned. On July 1, for the first time on the E-auction website, places where radars will be installed in Tashkent were put up for auction.
