The criminal authority was killed during a special operation

Kamchibek Kolbayev (Kamchibek Asanbek), a well-known criminal authority in Kyrgyzstan, was killed during a special operation.

It is noted that the special operation was conducted in the afternoon of October 4 in one of the restaurants in the center of Bishkek. Kolbayev was shot at because of armed resistance.

Kamchibek Asanbek died on the spot from gunshot wounds. No one was killed or injured among the special service personnel and citizens.

In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated under the articles "Creation of an organized criminal group", "Illegal handling of weapons" and "Attempt to murder".

The special services tried to arrest Kolbayev as part of the investigation of the criminal case against "active members and leaders of an organized criminal group on the facts of illegal possession of a large amount of property of entrepreneurs."

Kamchibek Asanbek was convicted of murder in 2000 and sentenced to 25 years in prison, but escaped from prison after six years. In 2008, he was officially awarded the status of "thief in law" in Moscow.
