The Cost of Travel on Uzbekistan’s First Toll Road Has Been Announced
The toll for the full Urgench–Khiva route has been set at 25,000 soums for passenger cars. The short route — from the “Turkmanli” mahalla to Khiva — will cost 20,000 soums.
For trucks weighing 3.5–12 tons, light-duty trucks, and buses, the full route will cost 40,000 soums, while the short route will cost 25,000 soums.
The toll will be collected electronically without requiring vehicles to stop. The system is currently operating in test mode and will be fully launched on August 25.
The maximum speed on the toll road is set at 150 km/h, while the minimum speed is 40 km/h.
