A conference of the Chiefs of General Staff of Central and South Asian countries was held in the "Uzbekistan" Palace of International Forums in Tashkent. Delegations of the Defense Ministries of the Republics of the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan took part in it. At the beginning of the event, representatives of the military delegations laid wreaths at the foot of the "Hymn of Courage" monument in the "Victory Park" memorial complex and visited the "Glory" museum. After that, they took pictures in front of their national flags in the "Uzbekistan" Palace of International Forums. The conference was opened by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Bahadir Gurbanov, and the Commander of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces, General Michael Kurilla. Issues such as regional security, fight against terrorism, humanitarian aid and regional stability were discussed within the framework of the conference.
