The Center for Islamic Civilization was officially opened with the participation of the President
On March 17, the official opening ceremony of the Center for Islamic Civilization was held in Tashkent. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the event, got acquainted with the conditions and expositions created at the center, and participated in the iftar event.
Located on the territory of the Hazrati Imam complex, the center is aimed at showcasing the rich history, cultural and religious heritage of Uzbekistan. Thousands of exhibits are stored here, including rare manuscripts and the Usman Mus'hafi.
The ceremony was attended by local and foreign guests, scholars, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
