Today, on August 11, at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Institution "National Museum of Tajikistan" of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Nations on education, science and culture of UNESCO, the National Museum of Tajikistan hosted festive event, according to NIAT "Khovar".

The event was attended by representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, and other relevant institutions.

The event presented the achievements of the period of State Independence in the direction of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNESCO - the art of sewing chakan, adras, dastarkhan with seven “sins” and seven “tires”, as a symbol of Navruz, the performance of Shashmaqom, Falak, pilaf and silk production.

Along with this, with the participation of professional artists of the theaters of the country, theatrical performances based on the works of Aburaikhoni Beruni, Jaloliddini Balkhi and anecdotes of Khoja Nasriddin were presented, as well as miniature works, paintings by Vahdat children and works related to pottery. In the cultural sector, artists from Hissar performed with the play "Let's go to the teahouse", artists from Dushanbe performed music on the gidzhak (bowed musical instrument).

At the same time, the guests of the exhibition got acquainted with a corner of Sarazm and an imitation of the monument of the Takhti Sangin village, which was opened at the National Museum of Tajikistan in honor of the 2500th anniversary of this historical monument.

It should be noted that 30 years have passed since the entry of the Republic of Tajikistan into UNESCO, during which time the National Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO was created.

This measure laid the foundation for several historical, cultural and natural artifacts of the Republic of Tajikistan to be included in the lists of this world institution today.

During the event, all the certificates received by the Republic of Tajikistan from UNESCO for 30 years were presented to those present and visitors of the National Museum of Tajikistan.
