The body of an Uzbek woman was found inside a suitcase in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The body was found in a suitcase in the basement of a house with signs of violence. The deceased was a 31-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, who came to St. Petersburg in early November to earn money for a 24-year-old acquaintance. It turned out that on December 9, the deceased had an argument with his acquaintance, and the man crushed her to death with a pillow. After that, the killer put the body in a suitcase, took it to the basement of the house, and returned to Uzbekistan on December 10.
Investigators say that the man himself called the police, reported the murder, and told them where he had left the woman's body. A criminal case has been opened into the case. Investigators are conducting an examination.
