Winners of the "Quality Public Administration" program awarded

Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the award ceremony of the winners of the “Quality Public Administration” program and, in his speech, emphasized that ensuring efficiency, openness and effectiveness in public administration is a priority.

The Head of State noted that from now on, the activities of ministries and departments will be evaluated based on the principle of “working for results, not for the process.” To this end, the activities of state bodies were analyzed by international and local experts, and their management quality and leadership potential were studied.

According to the results of the competition, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan was recognized as the most exemplary ministry in implementing the “Uzbekistan - 2030” strategy. The Ministry of Mining and Geology was recognized as the most exemplary department in the direction of resource management, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was recognized as the most exemplary department in the direction of providing public services.
The President proposed to encourage all winners, promote them by one level and include them in the reserve of managerial personnel. The Head of State announced that in the future, public information will be provided not only about state agencies that have shown progressive results, but also about those that have made serious shortcomings in their activities.

As part of the ceremony, the President also met with a delegation led by the Minister of Government Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Garghawi, and discussed the exchange of best practices in public administration and expanding cooperation.
