According to the results of the 2022 ranking of the UN Electronic Government Development Index, Uzbekistan has risen 18 places compared to the previous period, ranked 69th among 195 countries, and is among the fastest growing countries. added.

On the basis of these international rating indicators, a rating assessment methodology of the state of digital transformation in the state and economic and local executive authorities of Uzbekistan (hereinafter - state organizations) has been developed and is constantly being improved.

By the end of the first half of 2023, 43 state bodies, 38 economic bodies and 14 local governments were included in the process of rating the state of digital transformation: a total of 95 state organizations.

Rating assessment was carried out in 5 areas:

- Openness and electronic participation;

- Electronic state services;

- Information security;

- Digitization of activity;

- Organizational issues.
