The badge "Excellence in the field of seismic safety" was established

Citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of the field of seismology, seismic strength of structures, and ensuring the seismic safety of the population and regions are awarded with the badge.

The badge and its certificate are solemnly presented by the President of the Academy of Sciences (or other responsible persons according to his assignment) every year on October 13 - on the eve of the International Day of Natural Disaster Risk Reduction.

Those awarded with a badge will receive a monetary reward in the amount of 4 times the BHM.
