In January-August 2023, as a result of the looting of natural gas and electricity, state interests suffered 390 billion soums of damage. In January-August 2023, 308 million 845 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and 197 million 623 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity were looted. The Ministry of Energy informed about it. During the control measures conducted by Ozenergoinspeksia, cases of illegal use of natural gas and electricity by consumers were found in 6,305 cases. It is noted that 308 million 845 thousand cubic meters of natural gas (286 billion 291 million soums) and 197 million 623 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity (103 billion 894 million soums) were looted during 8 months. 390 billion 185 million soums were damaged as a result of this. Andijan, Samarkand, Navoi and Tashkent regions account for the largest number of cases of illegal use. During the quality control measures of oil products carried out by the Tashkent Central Control-Chemical Laboratory of the Inspectorate, 5 million 225 thousand liters of oil products were found to be of poor quality in 200 cases at gas stations for private cars. It is said that measures have been taken against the violating consumers in the prescribed manner, and relevant documents have been submitted to the law enforcement agencies.
