Ambassador of Turkmenistan Dovletmyrat Muratov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Georgia, met with the country's Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Khvtisiashvili, the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The parties discussed the prospects and state of cooperation between the countries in various fields and stated active interaction within the framework of regional structures and at international platforms.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia thanked Muratov for his personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Georgian relations, wishing him further success.
Earlier, on July 12, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on the release of Muratov from the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia in connection with the transfer to another job.
