The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China discussed cooperation with representatives of the Chinese province of Shaanxi

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China Parahat Durdyev discussed the development of cooperation with officials from the Chinese province of Shaanxi, according to a press release from the Turkmen diplomatic mission in China.
Yao Hongjuan, Head of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province, Yao Hongjuan, Head of the Eurasia Department of the Shaanxi People's Society for Friendship with Foreigners, Liang Feng, and Zhao Yang, an employee of the Office, took part in the meeting from the Chinese side.
Earlier, a representative delegation from Shaanxi province, headed by the governor, visited Turkmenistan to participate in the opening ceremony of the "smart" city of Arkadag. The visit was widely covered in the Chinese media. A rich program allowed the delegates not only to take part in the celebration of the opening of the city, but also to hold a number of important meetings in the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
During these meetings, the parties exchanged views and reached a consensus on the development of cooperation in such areas as trade, economy, transport, logistics, energy, agriculture, education, archeology and the development of sister city relations between Shaanxi province and the Akhal region of Turkmenistan, as well as cities Mary and Xi'an.
At the meeting at the embassy, the sides discussed the agreements reached during the delegation's visit to Turkmenistan and the implementation of the plans approved during the first China-Central Asia summit.
