The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China named the advantages for the development of the strategic Turkmen-Chinese partnership

“The long-term stability of the political situation and the consistency of the policies of China and Turkmenistan are unique advantages for the development of strategic cooperation between the two countries,” noted Chinese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng in his article for the official Turkmen press on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
The Chinese diplomat emphasized that this year marks 10 years since the establishment of strategic partnership relations and a year since the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Turkmenistan. During this time, China has become Turkmenistan's main trading partner, and Beijing and Ashgabat provide strong support to each other on issues affecting the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
The Ambassador drew special attention to the continuous deepening of the process of linking the “One Belt - One Road” project and the “Revival of the Great Silk Road” strategy. And the cornerstone of interaction between the two states is energy cooperation. In general, as the head of the diplomatic mission noted, the Turkmen-Chinese partnership is provided with reliable mechanisms.
Thus, the Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee and 6 subcommittees on trade, energy, humanitarian exchange, transport and logistics, and scientific technology are successfully operating. All of them play a key role in the full implementation of the Cooperation Program between the governments of the two states for the period until 2025.
In addition, the ambassador summed up the development of the PRC in recent years, especially noting that the Celestial Empire is considered the main trading partner for more than 140 countries of the world, about three thousand enterprises with foreign capital are located in the country every year, and the growth of the national economy reaches 5.2% .
