The 4th meeting of the heads of the judicial councils of the Turkic states has begun in Samarkand

Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the participants of the 4th meeting of the heads of the judicial councils of the Turkic states. In his congratulatory message, the President noted that this conference will serve to strengthen cooperation between the Turkic states in ensuring the rule of law, protecting human rights and improving the judicial system.

It was noted that the symbolic significance of the meeting is being held in Samarkand, during the international celebration of the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur. The address highly appreciated the role of the Turkic states in ensuring Turkic unity and progress, and paid special attention to the issues of developing the judiciary, expanding cooperation in judicial systems and strengthening the principles of justice.

It was also noted that a memorandum of understanding on common principles of judicial ethics in the member states is expected to be signed during the meeting, which will serve to further strengthen cooperation between judicial systems and common ethical standards. The President wished the participants of the conference success and expressed confidence that the forum would further strengthen strategic partnership, friendship and brotherhood between the Turkic countries.
