The $290 million Olympic Village has been completed

On August 18, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Olympic town, worth $ 290 million, located on an area of more than 100 hectares in Tashkent. There are 5 main sports complexes in the town, including a velodrome of complex design, the first in Uzbekistan. The velodrome maintains the same temperature throughout the year and has seating for 2,200 spectators.On August 18, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Olympic town, worth $ 290 million, located on an area of more than 100 hectares in Tashkent. Also, a 12,000-seat stadium, a water sports palace, multifunctional sports complexes and 15 open spaces have been built in the center of the town. All structures comply with international standards and are energy efficient.

The president spoke with the athletes, highly appreciated their achievements and gave instructions for the development of sports among young people.
