For the 2023/2024 academic year in Uzbekistan, entrance tests to the higher education institution will be held in 72 buildings across the country. It was reported that 38,220 applicants in 1,274 groups in one shift, 76,440 applicants in 2,548 groups in one day (in two shifts) will take part in the test. Testing will begin on August 1 in all regions and will last from 11 to 13 days, depending on the number of applicants in the regions and the capacity of the buildings. For the 2023/2024 academic year, 948,486 of the 1,018,007 applicants registered for the bachelor's education programs of higher education institutions will take part in the tests. From July 28, the issuance of permits to applicants began. Applicants can get an "Applicant's permit" to participate in the tests by entering their personal identification number and passport series and number on the "My.uzbmb.uz" site. Tests held in stadiums For the 2020/2021 academic year, the entrance tests for the undergraduate courses of higher education institutions were organized in open fields.
