Terrorists attack military headquarters in Pakistan

In the Pakistani city of Peshawar, terrorists carried out an attack on the Headquarters of the Border Command. A suicide bomber detonated himself at the main entrance of the building, after which the remaining attackers entered inside. As a result of the incident, three personnel were killed, and five people, including two military officers, were injured. The wounded have been taken to the hospital. The army and police have cordoned off the area, as more terrorists may still be inside the building. Roads have been temporarily closed. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Recently, militant attacks have increased in Pakistan’s northwestern provinces, which officials link to escalating tensions with Afghanistan.
