Telegram Wallet officially launched in Uzbekistan.

Users in Uzbekistan can now buy, sell, and transfer cryptocurrencies directly within the messenger without downloading a separate application. The Wallet cryptocurrency service, fully integrated into Telegram, has officially announced the start of its operations in Uzbekistan.

Designed for more than 27 million Telegram users in the country, the service enables users to buy, sell, and transfer cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Toncoin, USDT, and others directly inside the app.

Wallet supports payments via local Humo cards as well as Visa and Mastercard. The service was launched after obtaining an official license in Uzbekistan from NAPP, the Digital Government Projects Management Center.

Thanks to its full integration into the Telegram interface, the registration process takes only a few seconds. According to Asterium CEO Komilkhodja Sultanov, the goal of the service is to simplify access to crypto tools and create a convenient environment for Uzbekistan’s digitally active population.

Currently, more than 150 million users worldwide are registered on Wallet.
