At School No. 39 in the Kosonsoy district of the Namangan region, a primary school teacher repeatedly beat a first-grade student for failing to read from a book.
According to the regional Department of Preschool and School Education, the incident occurred around 10:30 AM on September 16, during the third lesson. An official inquiry was launched at the school following the circulation of a video on social media. A legal assessment of the situation and a review of the actions taken by those responsible are currently underway.
Upon completion of the investigation, measures will be taken against the school administration and the teacher in accordance with the law.
