Tatarstan’s leader visits people injured in drone attacks

Tatarstan’s leader Rustam Minnikhanov visited people injured in the drone attacks in Nizhnekamsk.

On August 10, drone attacks on several facilities in Nizhnekamsk killed 13 people. Among the victims were eight Uzbek citizens and one Tajik citizen. More than 70 people were injured, with 21 hospitalized.

Minnikhanov sent telegrams of condolences to the presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and said that the families of those killed and the injured would receive the necessary assistance. Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the terrorism article.

The Uzbek government sent a special working group to Russia to arrange the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased citizens and provide assistance to those injured.
