Tashkent taxi driver beaten by bloggers

A video showing a conflict between a driver and a female passenger has been circulating on social media, sparking widespread discussion.

According to reports, the dispute began after the passenger’s child repeatedly kicked the car seat. The driver asked the woman to calm the child down, which led to a verbal argument between them.

The driver then asked the woman to leave the vehicle. However, she refused and called her blogger acquaintances to the scene. After arriving, the individuals allegedly deliberately disregarded public standards of conduct and, while violating public order, got into a confrontation with the driver.

A pre-investigation inquiry is currently underway. The case has been placed under the control of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs. A legal decision will be made based on the results of the investigation.
