Tashkent metro to be expanded to TTZ in 2 stages

A new line of the Tashkent metro will be built in 2 stages to the TTZ (Tashkent Tractor Plant) village. This project was presented to Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will be implemented as follows:
• Stage 1: An above-ground metro line will be built parallel to the existing railway from the Pushkin station on the Chilonzor route to the Feruza village in the Mirzo Ulugbek district.
• Stage 2: A metro line will be built from the Feruza village to the Shah station in the TTZ village.
This new line is expected to serve 85 thousand passengers per day. Currently, about 194 thousand passengers travel from these areas to the center of the capital daily by 47 thousand vehicles.
