Tashkent is among the best destinations to travel in Asia

The international magazine Condé Nast Traveler has included Tashkent in its list of “Best Places to Travel in Asia in 2026”.
The publication notes that the city attracts tourists with its combination of history and modernity, ancient madrasas, bazaars and new cultural venues. Today, Tashkent is becoming a center of cultural tourism in Central Asia.
The magazine noted that the opening of new facilities such as the “Center of Islamic Civilization” and the “Center of Contemporary Art” has turned the capital into a place to study modern art along with historical heritage.
Today, Tashkent is attractive for tourists not only as a starting point for traveling around Uzbekistan, but also as an independent tourist destination.

Over 8.6 million foreign tourists visited the country in the first 9 months of this year. This is 112.5 percent more than last year.
In 2025, tourism exports exceeded $3.6 billion, setting a historical record.
