On February 10 of this year, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchibek Tashiyev, was dismissed from his post by Sadir Japarov ahead of schedule while he was in Germany for treatment.
He said that he had gone abroad for a medical examination with the president's permission and had not waited for a decision to dismiss him.
Later, the two friends performed Eid prayers together in Bishkek, but in early April, his brother Shoirbek Tashiyev was detained on suspicion of corruption in connection with the robbery case at Kyrgyzneftegaz.
The Kyrgyz president stressed that there is no division into "Japarov's team" or "Tashiyev's team", saying, "Stability in the state is above all for me."
