"Taliban" Standard Department and officials of Nimroz and Hayraton ports of the movement informed that one wagon of low-quality oil was sent back to Uzbekistan, and four tankers of diesel were sent back to Iran.

"Taliban" standards department wrote in a post on Twitter (X) that they turned back four substandard diesel tankers imported from Iran at the port of Nimroz.

"Taliban" officials at Hayraton trading port said that a wagonload of low-quality oil was sent back to Uzbekistan.

Ghulam Yahya Laqani, the head of the "Taliban" standard department in Hayraton, said that this low-quality oil was bought from the GTL plant of Uzbekistan and brought to Afghanistan by the "Anar Dara" company.

The department emphasizes that port monitoring has been strengthened to prevent the entry of low-quality oil into the country.

Earlier, a Taliban official claimed that 80 wagons of low-quality oil and gas from Uzbekistan were returned in the past four months.

"Uzbekneftgaz" Chairman Bahadir Siddikov explained that in response to such reports, not oil, but a new type of diesel was sent to Afghanistan, and it was returned not because of the low quality of the product, but because its standard was not available in Afghanistan.
