The new trains will be put into use on the Bukhara-Urganch-Khiva railway line.
4 Talgo-250 high-speed electro-trains are brought from Spain to Uzbekistan. According to the world news agency, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Spain Jahongir Ganiyev met with Carlos Palasi Oriol, President of Patentes Talgo, to discuss the possibility of organizing the procurement of Talgo-250 trains on the side of Uzbekistan.

"Carlos Palasi Oriol has stated that a large order for 64 trains has arrived from Denmark and Germany, and at the same time the company's factories are working on a rough graph for the preparation of these trains, despite the fact that Patentes Talgo is ready to provide the preparation and delivery of 4 electro-trains in the terms planned by the Uzbek side,” the agency said

It is envisaged that the new trains will be financed by long-term preferential loans from the fund for the internationalization of enterprises (FIEM)under the Spanish government.

To date, 6 high-speed electropoises of the Talgo-250 were purchased by the Railways of Uzbekistan. The last batch was brought in 2021.
