Taleh Kazimov: Azerbaijan will form currency exchange offices in a new format

Currency exchange points in a new format will be formed in Azerbaijan.

Report informs, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov said at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

He noted that the amendment to the law "On the Central Bank" also includes this issue.

According to him, it is planned to create not small, but institutional currency exchange departments.

Recall that the activity of currency exchange offices in the country has been suspended since 2016. In accordance with the amendments made to the law "On currency regulation", since 2018 Azerbaijan began licensing the activities of currency exchange offices.
