Meteorologists in Tajikistan have provided an accurate forecast according to which dust storms will occur in the country within a few days

Weather conditions are expected to worsen in a number of regions of Tajikistan.

This was reported by the country's Hydrometeorological Agency.

Thus, in the Khatlon region, the Districts of Republican Subordination and in Dushanbe, weather forecasters are predicting a dust storm.

It will cover the regions on September 11-13.

In general, changeable weather without rain is expected in Tajikistan, and temperatures will drop slightly.

In some areas, wind speeds reach 15-20 meters per second, causing dust to form.

In Sogd, changeable weather will prevail, no rain is expected; in the valleys of the region the temperature will be 18-23°C at night, 27-32°C during the day. In mountainous areas 8-13°C and 22-27°C respectively.

In Khatlon, precipitation is also not predicted, but the wind will blow with greater intensity, from the east with a shift to the southwest at a speed of 7-12, in some areas up to 17-22 meters per second.

The temperature in the valleys at night is 17-22°C, during the day the thermometer will rise to ​24-29.

In the Regions of Republican Subordination the weather will not rain, but it will be dusty. Weather at night 16-21°C, during the day 28-33°C.

In the capital, the weather will be mild, without precipitation, at night 16-18°C, during the day the heat is expected to reach 33°C.

In connection with the dust storm, the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense asks residents to be careful when carrying out field work, and in mountainous areas to refrain from collecting firewood and hunting on these days.

Particular attention should be paid to patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases and hypertension.
