President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon spoke about the opportunities that the republic provides to potential investors

Tajikistan is interested in the development of "green" energy for the investments of the Persian Gulf countries.

This was stated by President of the Republic Emomali Rahmon at the first summit of the leaders of Central Asia and Arab countries, which is taking place in Jeddah.

"Taking into account the hydropower potential of Tajikistan, the special interest of the Tajik side in attracting investments from the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf for the development of green energy was emphasized," the press service of the Tajik leader said.

During his speech, Rahmon also noted the importance of using the capabilities of financial institutions and development funds of the Gulf countries and the Islamic Development Bank Group in the implementation of specific projects.

Recall that during the same summit, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov called for the creation of a visa-free zone between the countries of Central Asia and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf.
