Tajikistan took part in joint anti-terrorist exercises of the CIS and SCO

The holding of joint military exercises between the two organizations was timed to coincide with the first conference of the CIS member countries on the fight against terrorism and extremism

Tajikistan took part in the first-ever joint anti-terrorist exercises of the CIS and the SCO "Eurasia-Antiterror - 2023".

Central Asian media reported this.

It is noted that in addition to the republic, representatives of 10 states took part in the events, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Belarus.

Thus, the exercises were dedicated to the fight against terrorism and extremism.

“The maneuvers took place within the framework of the first conference of the CIS member countries,” sources emphasize.

Let us remind you that the first stage of the exercise took place from July 1 to August 1, the second - from September 12 to 14, 2023.

A meeting on military issues was held in Belarus with the participation of Tajikistan

One of the main organizers of the unique event was the Anti-Terrorism Center (ATC) of the CIS member states.
